📘 How to Use This Tool

Find out how many units of electricity your appliances use in a month.

  1. Set how many days to count (30 by default). Optionally enter your price per unit to see the cost.
  2. The list starts with a fan and a bulb. Pick any appliance from the dropdown and click Add, or add your own appliance.
  3. For each appliance, check the watts (see the label on the appliance), the quantity and the hours it runs per day.
  4. For a fridge or AC that does not run at full power all day, enter the average hours it actually runs.
  5. The total units per month and the estimated cost update automatically.
  6. Use the reverse calculator at the bottom to find how long an appliance can run on a set number of units.
