📘 How to Use This Tool

Find the hourly rate you need to charge to hit your income goal, and see what that means for package pricing.

  1. Enter your target annual take-home income.
  2. Enter how many hours per week you can realistically bill clients (not total working hours — admin, sales, and breaks aren't billable).
  3. Enter how many weeks off you plan to take per year (holidays, sick days, etc).
  4. Enter your business overhead percentage (software, taxes, insurance) — this increases the rate needed to hit your target take-home.
  5. Enter estimated hours for a typical project to see the equivalent package price.
  6. Click Calculate to see both your required hourly rate and the matching package price.
