📘 How to Use This Tool

Estimate your government pension, gratuity and leave encashment, and split the lump sum among nominees.

  1. Enter your last drawn basic pay.
  2. Select your qualifying service. The verified rates are 5, 10, 15, 20, 21 and 25 or more years. For any other length, choose Other and type the rate from the official table.
  3. The gratuity factor fills in as 230 for 20 or more years. For shorter service, type the factor from the official table.
  4. Optionally enter the months of leave you will encash.
  5. Add each nominee with their percentage from the pension papers. The shares must total 100 percent.
  6. The result shows the gross pension, the monthly pension after the mandatory 50 percent commutation, the gratuity and each nominee share. Confirm the final figures with your accounts office.
