📘 How to Use This Tool

Clean up a messy SQL query and check for a common syntax mistake.

  1. Paste your raw or messy SQL query into the text box.
  2. Click "Format & Validate".
  3. The tool checks that your parentheses are balanced (a common copy-paste mistake) and warns you if they're not.
  4. Your query is reformatted with each major clause (SELECT, FROM, WHERE, JOIN, etc.) on its own line, and keywords capitalized.
  5. Copy the formatted result using the Copy button.
